¡Ë When Tom Minogue founded SYNERGY he combined his training as a restaurant chef with his background as managing editor of San Francisco publication, the Food & Beverage Journal (now Food & Beverage International), and his long experience working for food clients at international PR agencies in China ¡ª bringing together the perfect ingredients for a PR agency which caters specifically to food producers and food marketing organizations.
 

¡Ë  During the 15 years Tom has spent in China, he was a key member of the public relations department at Nestl¨¦ (China) and headed up Ketchum Newscan¡¯s Chinawide Food & Nutrition team, where he created innovative PR programs that helped clients enhance their reputation and advance their business objectives in the Chinese market.

¡Ë Tom¡¯s wealth of marketing communications experience in China has seen him working closely with food clients such as the Norwegian Seafood Export Council, the Almond Board of California, Nestl¨¦, McDonald's, Heinz, Hormel, Cadbury's, the US Potato Board, the US Dairy Export Council, the American Soybean Association and Rich's.

¡ËOnce a chef, always a chef: as President of SYNERGY, Tom occasionally dons his chef hat and invites leading Chinese lifestyle magazines into his kitchen where they photograph his latest culinary creations for feature stories.
